2007 Conference Highlights

Hundreds of participants were sky high with inspiration and motivation as they left the Forum, ready, willing and able to take their newly learned character education tools back to their classrooms, schools and districts. Several participants told us this was the best Forum ever.

"I was looking for a way to equip myself to better serve the youth of Missouri and this Forum was recommended to me as one of the best resources available.”

"This was one of the best conferences I have ever been to (and I have been to quite a few). There was a lot of fantastic information!! Loved it! Thank you for all the planning that went into a great event.”

Two big highlights of the Forum were the NSOC Awards luncheon and the new Promising Practices Awards Breakfast. Seeing the enthusiasm on the winners’ faces and learning details about these exemplar schools and programs reminded attendees of how important our character education efforts are.

“The chance to see and hear what other schools are doing in character education is invaluable. I think the positive nature of the forum and the strength of the breakout sessions left me not only full of ideas for the classroom but filled with a sense of hope for future children everywhere. If this is where education is headed, our future is bright.”
