The Promising Practice online application will be available soon.
If your school or district has developed and successfully implemented a unique character education practice, we encourage you to apply for a Promising Practices award. We are not looking for a description of your entire character education initiative, but rather for a specific practice or aspect of your program that other schools may learn from and even replicate.
The following changes were made to the application this year in an effort to streamline the process for applicants and winners:
|
We are asking applicants to paste their responses directly into the application. Prepare your responses first. Refer to the 2010 application guidelines for the maximum character counts. You can track your word count in the online application. | |
| Applicants must upload a photo during the application process. You will not be able to submit your application without the photo. If you do not have a photo of your promising practice, take a picture of your school building. Please do not attempt to upload a Word document or PDF. Photos will be accepted in these formats only: .jpg, .jpeg, .gif. | |
| Your confirmation email will contain a link that can be used to edit your application, or add additional promising practices. This link may also be used to change your photo. |
All National Schools of Character/State Schools of Character applicants have until April 15, 2010, to submit their promising practices applications.
