Establishing Shared Leadership
While one of the most important elements of a successful character education initiative is shared leadership, developing a coordinated, consistent approach can present a challenge. CEP's foundational trainings help facilitate a common platform from which educators and administrators can begin to think about the values they share and the work they need to complete to implement comprehensive character education. By looking at school culture and climate through the lens of CEP's Eleven Principles of Effective Character Education, educators can begin the process of translating common core values into action.
"Throughout our district EVERY school, heck, EVERY teacher, should be focused on this. I even want my childrens' schools to be trained w/ CEP."
