Networking at the Forum
Past attendees have told us that networking is one of their favorite benefits of the Forum. “The most valuable component of the Forum was getting to meet other teachers and professionals from around the world and collaborate with them. It was nice to meet supportive people who knew exactly how I was feeling and offered to help even though we had just met. It left me feeling energized and inspired.” – 6th Grade Teacher
So in addition to days of great programming, we have also built in networking time:
- Friday’s new networking lunch, The NSOC Marketplace of Ideas. Join us for a casual networking lunch where you can connect with fellow attendees, CEP’s Board of Directors, exhibitors, and our National Schools of Character. Following lunch, pull up a chair and join the conversation as the 2012 NSOC share their successful practices.
- Welcome Reception
- Breakfast, breaks, and free evenings
- Online Community—open only to registered attendees, our Pathable social media site will extend the conference way beyond a two-to-four day event. Networking has already begun. Register and join the discussions today. You can also build your own schedule here and make plans to meet up with people you’ve met online. Some state groups have already made plans to go out to dinner together Friday night following the welcome reception. Need help in using Pathable? Contact Sweta Haldar, shaldar@character.org.
