Six Ways to Save

  1. Register early. Register by July 1, 2012 to save up to $100 on your registration fee.
  2. Become a volunteer. Volunteers save approximately 50 percent on registration fees.
  3. Save when you attend as a group. Every fifth person who registers from your school or district may attend the Forum for free. To take advantage of this offer, all members of the group must register at the same time. All five registrants must be added as one group during registration in order to receive this discount.
  4. Save as a student. Full-time students receive discounted registration.
  5. Like us on Facebook. Visit CEP’s Facebook page, click “like,” and watch for Forum discounts. We will post periodic discounts codes that are only available to our social media fans.
  6. Follow us on Twitter. Visit CEP’s Twitter, click “follow,” and watch for Forum discounts. We will post periodic discount codes that are only available to our social media fans.

Request Funding Support

Past attendees have found community organizations such as the PTA, Rotary Club or a local business willing to sponsor their attendance at the Forum. Instilling good and sound character in the youth should be the goal of the entire community. Many businesses have social responsibility funds that they may be willing to use to cover your conference fees. A nice letter explaining the benefits for your school and community is usually what is needed.

Deduct your Expenses

Remember that according to Treasury Regulation 1.625-5, expenses for continuing education taken to maintain or improve professional skills are tax-deductible (including registration fees, travel, meals and lodging).
