The winning schools and district all demonstrate outstanding character education initiatives that yield positive results in student behavior, citizenship, school climate, and academic performance. And although each NSOC varies in its philosophy and implementation, they all exemplify the Eleven Principles of Effective Character Education, CEP’s framework for effective practice.
