Sustainable Schoolyard Exhibit Opens at the US Botanic Garden in Washington, DC

The exhibit is part of US Botanical Garden's major exhibition - Sustainability: One Planet-Ours that will continue through October 13th. This exhibit is a vibrant demonstration of an educational concept that has been spreading rapidly in many parts of the United States. CEP is proud to announce the publication of a new white paper on performance values. Approved for publication by the Board of Directors in March, the paper is titled “Performance Values: Why They Matter and What Schools Can Do to Foster Their Development.” Download

CEP is pleased to announce the appointment of three new people to its Board of Directors: Anne Bryant, Executive Director of the National School Boards Association; Eileen Santiago, principal of Thomas Edison Elementary School in Port Chester, New York; and Richard Teerlink, former President and CEO of Harley Davidson Motor Company.
