Your award year is an exciting time for your entire school community. It is your chance to celebrate your accomplishments and give back by serving as a model for others. While CEP will provide you with many leadership opportunities, it is important not to become overwhelmed by these many possibilities or to try to do too much. Remember that you are in this for the long haul and we don’t want you to experience “NSOC burnout.”
You are not expected to participate in all of the outreach opportunities – but rather to select from the menu of options below in a way that makes sense for your school based on the strengths, interests, and resources of your staff.
You will find detailed descriptions of each of the outreach opportunities below as well as related resources. Simply click on the links. We look forward to working with you during your NSOC award year and beyond!
