As an NSOC, you are entitled to use the NSOC title and logos. Be sure to display your banner (given at the Forum) and the NSOC title prominently in your school building and on your website. Everyone visiting your school should instantly know you are a National School of Character!
Please try to make it clear when using the title and logos that the National Schools of Character (NSOC) program is a program of the Character Education Partnership (CEP). This is important because it helps interested educators to find out more about the program and the resources that CEP offers. We suggest you use BOTH the NSOC and the CEP logo whenever possible.
Use the NSOC and CEP logos as well as the NSOC title to publicize your status as an NSOC. Include the logos in any publicity fliers or PowerPoint presentations you create. Past NSOC have used the logos on:
- School/district website
- School stationery
- Shirts and pins for staff and students
- Tag lines in e-mail correspondence
- School/district marquees
- School buildings
- Publicity fliers
Electronic versions of the logos are available in different file formats. Contact Megan Jones at mjones@character.org for logos and let her know what kind of logos you need.
Be sure to follow CEP’s Branding Guidelines when contracting with printers to use the logos.
