Data Wall
The Nike Elementary Data Wall is a visual representation of the school's character education journey. In the main hallway of the school, a visitor will find posters with the 11 principles of effective character education accompanied by artifacts completed by students, staff, and parents. This Data Wall is an ever-changing, ongoing commitment to Nike’s character education initiative. The goal was to provide the learning community the insight and vision for a more specific approach to the school year, and to reflect on current practices, while planning for the future. The Date Wall is a visual reminder and reflection piece for students and staff on past activities, and areas of future growth. The Data Wall instills a feeling of belonging and a sense of competence in our students through the displays of student work, photos, newspaper clippings, posters, and written reflections. Everyone has a voice and takes pride in the artifacts on the wall. The Data Wall illustrates diversity, differentiated instruction, student engagement, and an interactive curriculum. The wall is the main reflection piece for the Nike learning community, and serves as a constant reminder that it is important to focus on all 11 principles of character to obtain full success in our school.
