Character Fair
The Character Education Fair was an interactive approach to teach parents and reinforce students' knowledge of the school's character education programs. Each grade level was given a topic that was an integral part of the character education program at Rosefield. The topics included the Peer Mediation Program, the Six Pillars of Character, and the Kids at Hope initiative. Each grade level set up a booth and an activity that helped students reflect on character. These booths were designed to help parents and students learn about the ways the school teaches character and recognize the common school character language. The students decorated passports and brought them to the Character Education Fair. As the students and parents went from booth to booth the students’ passports were stamped. The Character Education Task Force helps the students organize a raffle to make this night fun. Many teachers, students, and parents were involved in planning and volunteering for this Character Fair.
