Slowly and relentlessly over the last few decades, American culture has undermined healthy notions of what it means to be a man. Gentlemen Gators is a club that was created during the 2007-2008 school year at Lakeside Junior High School to teach young men authentic manhood—to give them a vision for nobility. Through a code of honor, weekly testimonies, and strong male mentors, Gentlemen Gators are taught the four cornerstones of honorable masculinity: #1 A Real Man Rejects Passivity #2 A Real Man Accepts Responsibility #3 A Real Man Leads Courageously #4 A Real Man Expects The Greater Reward (Lewis, Raising A Modern-Day Knight) Ultimately all men will be judged not by their grades or test scores or income earned, but rather by the following questions: What kind of father was I? What kind of husband was I? Did I make a difference? Gentlemen Gators was founded by men for men to impact this world one man at a time.
