Winter Family Fun Night
Learning Express Academy hosts an annual event called “Winter Family Fun Night.” This event is held every December for all students and families to join the staff and administration as the school hosts a variety of winter-themed activities that promote core family values and character building. A different winter-themed project is set up in each classroom and families rotate throughout the building to visit each room and complete the activities. Staff is present in each classroom to greet families and facilitate activities. The Winter Family Fun Night is a great way to demonstrate to the parents, students and staff just how important family involvement is in building good character in a child. Students are overjoyed by the idea of spending quality time with their family members at school, and they develop a stronger understanding of the importance of students, school and family working together as a community. As a result of this event, the school sees an increased parent involvement throughout the school, as well as stronger bonds between staff members and families.
