Daily Reflection Card
The Daily Reflection Card allows students to reflect on their own character every day. They learn to associate good behavior with good character and can see the positive outcomes in their relationships and achievement. This experience creates the intrinsic motivation to do what’s right, even when no one is looking. Students think about their behaviors every day and evaluate themselves against core values such as respect, responsibility, kindness and cooperation. They share these reflections with each other, their teacher and their parents for positive feedback and supportive correction when necessary. They are becoming more aware of the relationship between thinking, feeling and acting, and of how all three contribute to good character. The school has seen growth in their character development.
