Pride pOst (Inter-school mail system)
Pride pOst was designed to commemorate a teacher who passed away and who was very close to students and staff. The "O" is capitalized, in reference to him.The school recognized that students needed to be taught and given an outlet for their feelings. There had to be a way for them to comfortably express themselves to others in cases in which a person was no longer there either due to death or moving away. The program aims to answer the dilemma of the 21st century culture in which people do not foster and teach the importance of sharing your true appreciation with those who matter to you. The program included a school-wide assembly to uniformly introduce the plan to all students and staff. Then, those who wanted to participate could access the blank Pride pOst from the pOst station located in the main lobby. They deliver them to their friend's advisory room mailbox and the teacher hands them out during the week. It is critical to construct a student atmosphere of understanding, appreciation, and caring so that this is not abused in a malicious way.
