Pit Crew
Our PIT Crew, Parent Involvement Team, is comprised of parents and community volunteers. This committee is broken into five subcommittees and parents can volunteer on the one that most interests them. The first is the family room parent committee. This is an opportunity to continue the elementary traditions of having a "room mom or dad" to help plan events. The coffee talk is the second subcommittee. This is a chance to talk about middle school students, events at the school, and anything else parents want to know. The third subcommittee is the parent volunteer group. This can be for parent/teacher conferences, field trips, or bulletin boards. The fourth is teacher recognition. This group plans events and meals for staff. The last group is the social vision. These parents learn about the culture of school by doing lunch duty. Each parent can participate as much as they would like in the area they enjoy the most.
