Heroes for the Planet/STAND (Students Taking Action Daily)
Fifth grade students identify a social issue that is of interest to them. Building off this idea, students perform multiple tasks incorporating technology, social skills, and personal initiative to explore, communicate, and present their findings. In doing so, students learn the intrinsic value of speaking out against perceived injustices and practice skills that will enable them to confidently explore further into their future.
