Helping the Community through “Pescador”
Pescador was created by the initiative of a group of students concerned about their community problems. These students decided to support different institutions such as nursing homes, orphanages, shelters, and so on, not only by providing goods collected among them, but also by sharing their time, teachings, experiences, and work with those in need. Their purpose is to create a different culture where hard work and leadership are transmitted. One of their premises is to teach “how–to” instead of just give material goods. They transmit their knowledge and make activities with their own hands to understand the social reality that their country lives.
