Family Flags
At the beginning of the year the entire staff at Gotsch Intermediate created family flags. Each staff member was given a flag and then asked to "scrapbook" their own flag. Staff could include any personal information they wanted on the flag, including, but not limited to hobbies, family, interests, personal awards, and jobs. The flags were then put in the front foyer of the building for the first two weeks of school so the parents and students could “meet” and learn a little more about the staff. This helped create a more caring community and helped students find a personal link to teachers.
