Young Learners' Conference
Our “Young Learners' Conference” is a two-day, annual event in which students learn directly from community leaders. All students take part in interactive lessons with the presenters. Each “Young Learners' Conference” is organized around a central theme designed to introduce students to real-world opportunities and issues. The topics focus on engaging students in becoming responsible and respectful citizens. The goal of the conference is to provide students with opportunities to gain greater understanding of topics through active learning via an authentic, non-competitive learning experience. The objective of the conference is to develop intellectual character among students, to give them the opportunity to see diverse talents in action so they may gain confidence in their own abilities, and to examine a topic of global significance.
