After School Exploratory Enrichment Program
The After School Exploratory Enrichment Program at Harrison Avenue Elementary School was created four years ago to provide an extra outlet for students to explore new interests through a variety of activities and to continue learning and practicing the core values of pride, respect, responsibility, trust, and citizenship. This program is a true collaboration of our school community. All of our students in Kindergarten through fifth grade have the opportunity to participate in one or more courses during each session of this program. A fall, winter, and spring session of the After School Exploratory Enrichment Program is offered throughout the school year. Each course meets once a week for five weeks at the school from 2:10-3:15 p.m. This program allows students who might not have the opportunity to participate in extracurricular activities to enjoy spending time with their peers and a teacher, aide, or parent volunteer in a safe environment while enjoying a new activity.
