Core Value Boot Camp
In the middle of our school year, we held a surprise all-school assembly to review our core values: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Honest, and Be Nice. The purpose was to review schoolwide expectations. The building was decorated in a military theme with tents over doorways, inspirational military signs and pictures, and staff dressed in military attire. The students were surprised in the afternoon on this day when the principal came over the intercom and announced "Henry Raab Boot Camp." Students then became soldiers, teachers, and sergeants. The entire student body was marched to the gym echoing the chant, "We are respectful (echo), we are responsible (echo), we are honest (echo), we are nice (echo) Henry Raab (echo), an army of one (echo), be all that you can be! (echo)"
