Mentorship Program
McLean’s McLeadership Program allows for each of its 500 freshman to have an upperclassman mentor advising them and helping them transition into the high school environment. This program supports all the goals of a character education program while supporting a community where youth learn to make responsible decisions. A community where they learn that respect, responsibility and integrity, involve fostering a culture of caring administrators, counselors, teachers, parents and students. The McLeadership team shares the commitment of developing strong positive mentor relationships with students in order for them to make healthier choices to enrich their personal, social and academic futures.
