Northwestival
As an end of the school year building and community celebration, Northwest High School Renaissance hosts The Northwestival. After spending the year planning and preparing for the event, recruiting student, staff, volunteer, and community support, Northwest High School Students and staff are treated to a half day celebration. In the afternoon, the event includes game booths, obstacle courses, team sports, a bar-b-que lunch, car/truck show, and alumni band performance. Students and staff enjoy an afternoon furthering their relationships and celebrating together. Beginning in 2009, after the school day, and a brief reorganization period, the event is opened to the community, free of charge, for an afternoon/evening community festival for all to enjoy.
