The Diamond Model
The Character Education program at PAVCS is driven by our "Diamond Model of Partnership", where students are the central focus, but parents are an integral component in their child’s education. PAVCS embodies a team approach which fosters collaborative relationships between students, parents, and staff to facilitate the growth of each child. Serving students across the Commonwealth, we have the opportunity to reach out to diverse communities throughout the state, and we further promote community outreach globally to support children and students who are less privileged than our own. Through our "Diamond Model", we share a common goal of educating our students and supporting them in their growth as responsible individuals who display exemplary character both in school and within their communities. We hold school-wide assemblies and classroom lessons to highlight character traits and to recognize our students as they model these values in their everyday life. We also invite community members from all over the state to address our students, share their experiences and allow our students to share with them. Our parents are involved and active in all of these initiatives.
