Kids Helping Kids Project
"Kids Helping Kids Project" was a student led project that blossomed into a school-wide fundraiser to support the organization Friends of Kids with Cancer. First grade students were actively involved and included the entire school and staff with their plan to raise money and donations for Friends of Kids with Cancer. At the conclusion of the week-long project, Point School First Grader’s in Mrs. Koenig’s class, excitedly were able to announce to the school that Point had raised $594.00, 17 games, 149 toys, 4 large boxes of individually wrapped snacks, and over 450 student-made books for the organization Friends of Kids with Cancer.
