“Feria Ambiental y Ecologista del Mayo” Mayo’s Environmental and Ecological Fair is a family event that takes place, if possible, on the first Sunday of March. This is when “family day” is celebrated in Mexico. During the event, fun meets education through activities such as exhibitions, live music, and contests, making it attractive for students and attendees. It shows the students and attendees the importance of taking care of our planet in a creative and effective manner. It also creates a favorable place for the discussion of topics such as environmental care and ecology. The event is the outcome of skills, attitudes, and knowledge that students acquire and develop in their daily learning experience. It is especially relevant to the subjects of science 1 (biology), geography, and ecology. To the organizers, the event represents a way to objectively demonstrate to students how significant, practical, and transcendental the topics discussed and learned in class can be.
