Daily Greet and Meet
Each morning at Valley Preparatory, students are greeted at the door with a handshake and a greeting. Students then group together with special routines that lead into an engaging character lesson. Stories, role playing, videos, class discussions, journal responses and reflections provide the foundation for the monthly character trait. Students use this time to connect as a learning community. As teachers take time to connect with students and encourage students to connect together as a team, a feeling of peace and caring is communicated throughout the school.
