Blue Jay Pride
We take the letters in BLUE JAY PRIDE and teach a lesson on each character trait or phrase. This is done throughout the year in homeroom and in our 9th grade transition program (Jay Crew). We take the letters in BLUE JAY PRIDE and teach a lesson based on their meanings. B = Believe in your ability. L = Live like someone is watching. U = Understand listening is more important than talking. E = Extend a hand to those in need. J = Join something and stick with it. A = Accept the authority of those in charge of you. Y = You are part of something bigger than yourself.
