Anthony Elementary Student Council
Students who are associated with STUCO actively participate in school events that help promote student understanding and student growth. They must be in the 3rd or 4th grade. They are an extra pair of eyes and ears for staff when it comes to bullying and other social issues. They also try to meet the needs of the community by conducting food drives and other fundraising activities that will support the community as a whole. Members of STUCO are held to a higher standard of excellence both in and outside the classroom. They are the models for all students in the building. They must and do lead by example for others around them. Students must be willing to engage other students when they know that what someone is doing is wrong. STUCO is responsible for reporting to the principal the needs and wants of the students at Anthony Elementary. Our slogan this year was "Student Council is all about U". We strive to create a sense of community between all students and staff thus creating a positive working and learning environment for all at Anthony Elementary School in Leavenworth Kansas.
