Keeping Score -- Our Character Counts
While we have recognized good character throughout the school year with other methods, this promising practice was developed to add a new spark to the remainder of our school year. With baseball season upon us, and knowing that the end of the school year can often be a difficult time to continue having positive skills, attitudes, and behaviors, we added the character counts scoreboard to enable our students to finish out the year with good character. This promising practice includes three third grade teachers and 70 third grade students. This practice will be used daily. A self assessment/reflection piece will be given at the end of the year to measure the success of our promising practice.
