Team Building Activities and the Discovery Process
We believe a school should have a supportive atmosphere for students to grow academically, as well as emotionally, socially, and ethically. We utilize a highly organized character education program called "The Discovery Process." One essential component of this program is to actively engage all students in team building activities. These problem solving activities promote leadership, respect, cooperation, trust, curiosity, and perseverance in our students. Kids and adults are encouraged to put forth their best effort for the greater good. Upon completion of a team building "action," students and staff take time to "reflect" upon accomplishments, improvements, and important character development concepts.
