C.A.T.C.H. M.E. Program - Community, Administration, Teachers, Counselors, Home, & Mentors Empowering
C.A.T.C.H. M.E. (Community, Administration, Teachers, Counselors, Home, & Mentors Empowering) is a district-wide program that began with a book study of a children's book, Through the Cracks, by Judy Paolini and Carolyn Sollman. As we began to discuss students who might fall through the cracks of the educational system, we developed this program that addresses those children in need. Components of the program include C.H.A.M.P.S., Interactions, Boost, and Mentoring. Students are recommended and considered for placement in the program at the beginning of the year and as needed. Groups meet with a member of the Leadership Team. Mentors come to the school as their schedule permits and keep a log of time spent and a summary of the visit.
