Main Street Elementary Character Calendars
The Character Calendars were created with the idea of the students being citizens of a larger community. Pictures were taken of diverse groups of students, classes, and staff demonstrating those values that best represent the monthly character traits throughout the school. Students met with building staff and coordinated what pictures best represented our character words in action. The calendars were then presented to local businesses that surround our school, and contribute to our school culture. These are small business owners that have grown up in this community and have set an example of what true character is in order to become a productive and positive member of our community. MSE's character calendar serves as a showcase and visual reminder to all who visit "what it looks like" to be people of character.
