Muskogee High School
Muskogee, Oklahoma

Rougher 300 Club
The recognition program began in 2009 in partnership with the Muskogee Chamber of Commerce and the local Non-profit Resource Center. The purpose is to honor students who give of their time outside of the school day and to inspire others to do the same. Seniors who have compiled 300 or more hours of community service receive a special silver cord to wear during commencement. All students, grades 9-12, who have documented 75 or more hours of service, are invited to a spring banquet hosted by the City Chamber and Non-profit Center. Parents and siblings are also guests at the banquet and are there to support the students being honored. At the banquet Seniors with 300 or more hours are presented with a letter of commendation signed by the President of the Chamber and the Mayor of Muskogee. The banquet is free for students and their immediate family, and is totally funded by a city grant through the Muskogee Non-profit Center.
