Leading with Character
The teams that make up Leading with Character are threads that are interwoven through the core of our building to make our school community a cohesive, positive unit of parents, students and staff working together for the good of all. Each team has a focus that emulates a character trait. The Leadership Teams are: Tutoring, Caring and Sharing, Green Team, Giving Day Team, PV Players and Playground Pals. The Tuesday Tutors help support students by reviewing a wide-range of curricular concepts. The Caring and Sharing team carry out a variety of activities which include creating signs to remind everyone of building expectations such as walking slowly in the halls, doing good deeds for others, and offering compliments. The Giving Day Team helps coordinate our monthly charitable activities. Students collect and count the items that are donated to a worthy cause. The PV Players exemplify "good character" traits through performances that are shown on our PV TV. Playground Pals support peers who may need assistance in social situations.
