Our Magic School Bus Drivers
The bulletin board for "Our Magic School Bus Drivers" was created to provide our students with an easy, memorable way to get to know our bus drivers while we emphasize being safe and cooperative. Fun photos and information were collected on each of our bus drivers at the start of the 2011-2012 school year. These items were then used to compose a special display for all students and visitors to see. The display, which has a familiar "Magic School Bus" theme, is located right outside of the cafeteria. Each week, one particular bus driver is highlighted in the center of the display. Highlighted bus drivers have their photo moved to a prominent location on the bulletin board along with their mini-bio. The mini-bio includes answers to student- generated questions directed to each bus driver. By reading through the mini-bio, students can learn fun facts about each driver's favorite book, favorite movie and hobbies. The drivers also share how long they have been on the job, bus safety tips, memorable experiences on the bus, and the aspect of the job they find most enjoyable.
