Positive Behavior Support Family Support Nook
The Nook is an essential piece to our existing home/school connection in accordance with our Positive Behavior Intervention Support initiative, in particular our SuperStar Code: We take care of ourselves, each other, our school/home, and our world. The Nook was developed through a grant from the Division of Early Childhood. The Nook is founded on the belief that supporting the social and emotional development of young children between home and school is essential to healthy development in all domains. Books have been carefully chosen to support and develop young children while enjoying a book with their parents. Families check out these special books by signing them out, and after they have used the Nook, they are encouraged to fill out a brief survey to provide feedback of the efficacy of their PBIS Family Support Nook experience.
