The Power of Legacy!
Building legacy happens every year at Sadler Arts Academy. This year our focus has been on our school namesake Samuel L. Sadler. "The Legacy" is a school-wide, year-long character building focus that helps children understand that our legacy lies in the quality of our lives and the preparations we are making right now. We have used local and school history to teach our students to leave a legacy of mutual respect and kindness and to understand the power of goal-setting to achieve full potential. As a faculty, we are strong in teaching the basics of science, math, reading and writing but we also have an intentional focus of building character. We know it's critical to get kids thinking early about what's important to them and why. Our focus supports the following concepts: Goal setting to help children learn responsibility, how to break a task into manageable steps, how to work with others, and to believe in who you are and what you can accomplish. These concepts will help children evolve their legacy through their lifetime. "The Legacy" focus has taught our students about personal development.
