Cancer Awareness For All
The goal of the project was to unify and educate the students and community about multiple types of cancer. Through researching family history and the type of cancer each ribbon color represents, students designed the Cancer Ribbon quilt to be raffled benefiting Relay for Life. The Advanced Art class students were given opportunities to connect with other students on similar experiences through class discussion, peer tutoring, and collaborative group work to create a finished product.
