Tiger Talk Interviews-Meaningful Connections
Tiger Talk Interviews are broadcast to the entire school through closed circuit television. The broadcasts take place most Friday mornings right after our regular morning announcement broadcast. The interviews are student-created and led and serve to highlight a different member of the faculty, support staff, or community each week. The students who lead the interviews are members of our Character Club. The students practice their interview skills and prepare for upcoming interview sessions with a Character Cadre faculty member. Interviewees are encouraged to bring family photos in to share as well as examples of hobbies they enjoy outside of the school day so that we can get to know them on a more personal level. Each interview concludes with the interviewee sharing a character message with the students. They talk about why a particular character trait is important to them and how it has impacted their life. The Tiger Talk Interviews help our students to form stronger relationships with faculty, staff, and community members as they get to know them on a more personal basis. The interviews have made our school community bonds stronger and more meaningful.
