Westside Ambassadors
Westside Elementary implemented our Ambassadors program at the beginning of the 2011-2012 school year to promote character throughout our building. Ambassadors is a child-centered program that promotes leadership and community building through students and within our school. This program facilitates opportunities for students to apply the character traits they learn about during their school day. Application of skills is a fundamental part of the head, heart, and hands philosophy for building character. Through Ambassadors, students are able to practice leadership and build community by greeting fellow students and welcoming family members into our building on a daily basis.
