College of Education at the University of St. Francis and the Will County Character Coalition accepts applications from public and private schools and districts throughout the state of Illinois for the State Schools of Character (SSOC) program. Applicants selected as IL SSOC will hold their designation for 3 years and their applications will be forwarded to the national level for consideration as National Schools of Character (NSOC).
