The Maryland Center for Character Education at Stevenson University and the Maryland State Department of Education accept applications from public and private schools and districts throughout the state of Maryland for the State Schools of Character (SSOC) program. Applicants selected as MD SSOC will hold their designation for 3 years and their applications will be forwarded to the national level for consideration as National Schools of Character (NSOC).
