Professional Development

CEP Institutes and Seminars are designed to enable schools to transform their culture, and provide the pedagogy and character content integration necessary to support students' growth academically and ethically.  CEP has a comprehensive framework in the Eleven Principles, developed by leading character education experts. The Eleven Principles framework allows flexibility to schools and districts, guiding their actions based on identified priorities and needs.

The Eleven Principles Sourcebook ©,gives research-based examples of implementation strategies, many originating from National Schools of Character. The Sourcebook provides websites and published materials critical for designing and sustaining character education initiatives. CEP Institutes and Seminars are highly interactive, hands-on, action-planning experiences.

CEP, working with school and district leadership, designs comprehensive school reform for individual schools, as well as systemically across multiple school sites.
