Presenter: Dara Feldman, Director of Education, The Virtues Project
Start your year off right by creating a strong foundation that will empower not just your students, but you, your colleagues and school community to thrive. Use the power of language to bring out the best in yourself and others. By focusing on CEP’s Principle 1 you will learn meaningful strategies to identify core values and ways to live them on a daily basis. Participants will:
- Use a variety of strategies to select core values and use them as guiding principles
- Use virtues language in conscious, structured ways to acknowledge, educate/guide and correct.
- Recognize teachable moments without shaming and blaming, but naming virtues
- Honor the whole child and enhance school unity.
